On this day, November 22nd, 2025, at 1:08pm, this site is minted. These numbers chosen, for reasons known to me. At 1:11, the Squarespace generation was complete. On 12-21-25, at 3:09pm, the site was released, made public.

Long live the em dash! Such a useful tool in writing. You can nest thoughts — like this — with a visually appealing flow. It is common now to suppose that any use of the em dash is immediately indicative of AI writing — but it need not be so. I am quite fond of using them. Everything I write here is written by me, a human. If I quote AI writing it will be obvious and attributed.
